GLASTONBURY, CT — A 22-year-old New Britain man has been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries and vehicle thefts investigated by the Glastonbury Police Department.
Marques Rodriguez, 22, of 403 Columbus Blvd., New Britain, was arrested Sept. 24 at GA-12 in Manchester on an active Glastonbury arrest warrant, according to the department's arrest log.
Police said the warrant stemmed from an investigation into a string of vehicle burglaries and a vehicle theft reported on Jan. 23 and Feb. 9. The investigation was conducted by members of the Glastonbury Regional Auto Theft Task Force and Glastonbury police.
According to police, the investigation determined that Rodriguez was a principal suspect in the thefts. Investigators also linked him to vehicle thefts and burglaries across Connecticut and Massachusetts between December 2025 and March 2026.
Rodriguez faces multiple counts of third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, attempted third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit first-offense motor vehicle larceny.
His bond was listed at $150,000 cash or surety on the motor vehicle larceny charge.
Police said Rodriguez was taken into custody by the Connecticut State Police since his apprehension by the Glastonbury Regional Auto Theft Task Force in March 2026.
