Radiology Associates of Hartford Offers Weekend Hours
Extended hours for mammograms at Glastonbury clinic to serve working families, busy schedules

Hartford, Conn. — Radiology Associates of Hartford (RAH), the leading provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging services in the greater Hartford area, recently added weekend availability for mammography services at its Glastonbury clinic to accommodate working families and busy schedules.
RAH’s Glastonbury outpatient center, located at 31 Sycamore Street in Suite 102, now offers screening mammogram appointments from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. every other Saturday. The screening mammograms are being offered in addition to RAH’s regular weekly Saturday services, which include MRI scans and walk-in diagnostic X-rays.

RAH Outpatient Director Robert Perez, M.D., says the expanded availability of mammograms at the Glastonbury location will better serve the needs of the community.
“We’re respectful of our patients’ time, and our expanded mammography hours reflect that,” said Perez. “Mammograms are the first line of defense against breast cancer. However, with busy work, family and personal lives, we understand how difficult it can be to schedule one during normal business hours. Our hope is that women who would normally put off their appointments take advantage of this opportunity and be proactive in their health.”
RAH operates three outpatient diagnostic imaging centers in Avon, Enfield, and Glastonbury. All of RAH’s locations offer safe, comprehensive imaging services performed by fellowship-trained radiologists.
Avon Hours
Diagnostic imaging hours on Nod Road are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Enfield Hours
Regular hours for the RAH imaging center on Cranbrook Boulevard are 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Saturday services are limited to MRI scans, and walk-in diagnostic X-rays. The Enfield location also offers early morning and early evening MRI scans Monday-Friday.
Glastonbury Hours
In addition to Saturday hours, the Sycamore Street site is open Monday-Friday from 8:00a.m. to 5p.m.
RAH provides an integrated network of services for area women that include digital mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI, breast biopsies, and DEXA osteoporosis screenings. The radiology group’s complete range of medical imaging services include high-field MRI, 16-slice CT, ultrasound, diagnostic digital X-ray, varicose vein treatment, and thyroid ultrasound and biopsy.
