The Anti-Hero in Comic Books

Wolverine. Cat Woman. Iron Man. The anti-hero is everywhere. Professor Foster William H. Foster, Professor of English at Naugatuck Valley Community College, examines the development of this protagonist who has the opposite of most of the traditional attributes of a hero and why we embrace them. Professor Foster is a long-time comic book collector and researcher and has been an expert commentator for both CNN and National Public Radio.
