Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University student Maggie Sanderson of Glastonbury is studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain, for the spring 2019 semester. Sanderson majors in History. She is taking three Hispanic Studies courses at the University of Barcelona, which cover subjects such as Spanish film, grammar and conversational Spanish.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Corinne Ciraldo, a Fashion and Retail Merchandising student from South Glastonbury, presented work at the Lasell College Fall Connected Learning Symposium on December 4. Ciraldo presented "Rethinking Fashion Design," based on group research conducted in a course on sustainability in the fashion industry.
