Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Fifteen Eastern Connecticut State University students recently returned from the American Southwest after studying desert ecology in a global field course (GFC) with the biology department. The trip took place from March 9-17 and was supervised by professors Brett Mattingly and Matthew Graham. Among the students in attendance was Ramis Saleem of Glastonbury, who majors in Biology.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Tristan Gervais of South Glastonbury was inducted into the Emmanuel College chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society in business, management and administration, on Tuesday, March 26th.
