
GLASTONBURY, CT — A car and bicycle collided in Glastonbury on Tuesday evening, police said.
At 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Glastonbury police officers, firefighters and an EMS crew responded to the intersection of Hubbard Street and Buttonball Lane for a crash accident involving a car and a bicycle.
The operator of the bicycle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before being transported to an area hospital for further care, police said.

The operator of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.
The bicycle was part of a group of cyclists riding north on Buttonball Lane prior to the incident, police said.

The accident is being investigated by the Glastonbury Police Traffic Unit. Any witnesses or
anyone who may have witnessed any related events prior to the crash are being asked to contact police at 860-633-8301 with a reference to case No. 17-007698.
