Boy, 15, Charged With Choking Girl, 14, in Glastonbury
A 15-year-old is facing three charges after a choking incident on Glastonbury, police said.
GLASTONBURY, CT — A 15-year-old boy is accused of choking a 14-year-old girl until she passed out last month, police said on Tuesday.
The boy is facing facing three criminal charges — third-degree strangulation, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct, police said.
A complaint was filed on Oct. 24 and the incident took place in September, according to a police report.

The two were in a dating relationship and had a disagreement, according to a police report. The choking incident is described in a police report as "brief," but enough to cause the girl to "black out."
The names of juveniles arrested are exempt from disclosure under state law.
