Glastonbury born and raised entrepreneur Russ Weldon founded the Pond House in Elizabeth Park with partners Louis Lista and Kim Yarum 14 years ago in West Hartford. The Pond House has been such a success, and the banquets so popular, they needed a second location and Russ chose his home town of Glastonbury to open The Pond House Grille on main street. Russ and his partners took over the old and tired Colonnade Banquet center along with the adjoining restaurant space and remodeled both. Locally managed by partners Andy and Amy Quinn, the restaurant also brought over famed Executive Chef Jordan Stein from the West Hartford location to make sure the food was the best in Glastonbury.

The Glastonbury location is equipped with a Restaurant, Bar, seasonal porch and multiple Banquet rooms along with 4 kitchens to provide off site catering. The Pond House Grille has also brought to Glastonbury the famous Pond House Sunday Brunch every Sunday from 10-2:00. Over the past 14 years almost everyone in the Hartford area has enjoyed dining. attended a banquet or an event at the Pond House in West Hartford and now the Pond House has even more to offer with its newest location in Glastonbury with ample parking.

Another carry over to the Glastonbury location is the desire that the Pond House has to help community and non-profit organizations. The Pond House is passionate about helping organizations that help others. Pond House has always been about more than just great food they are about Community and they invite groups to use their facilities.
