Brandon V. Loura, 31; Glastonbury Electrician Who Enjoyed Fishing, Golfing
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13, with the funeral service planned for Friday, Aug. 14.

Brandon V. Loura, 31, of Glastonbury, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015, as a result of a fatal automobile accident.
Born on April 27, 1984, in Hartford, Brandon was the beloved son of Nazare Mendes Loura and Victor A. Loura both of Glastonbury.

Brandon was a graduate of Glastonbury High School and later attended Porter and Chester Institute where he also graduated with a goal of becoming a licensed electrician. Brandon worked at State-Wide Electric in Glastonbury and most recently, Miele Electric in Waterbury. Brandon enjoyed working on various electrical construction projects and took pride in his workmanship.
Brandon loved spending his summers in Old Lyme, fishing and playing golf. He was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and UCONN fan, enjoyed watching and attending the games with his friends.

Brandon had a big heart and loved his family and friends.
Besides his parents, he leaves to mourn his brother, Erik Loura and fiancé Julia Haller of Manchester; Godmother and aunt, Helena Mendes of Glastonbury; Godfather Michael Loura and Sue (Fournier) of Darien; Joseph Baddeley of Glastonbury; many aunts, uncles, cousins, long time friends, his loving cat Nuggy, and dogs Maxx and Austin, and a special little girl he held close to his heart, Kaylee.
He is now reunited with his grandparents who he loved dearly, Nazare and Carlos Mendes and Maria and Manuel Loura.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, from 5-8 PM at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, at 10 AM at Our Lady Fatima Church, Hartford. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
