The DOT's Division of Bridge Safety and Evaluations has contracted with Transystems Corporation to conduct inspections of various Highway Bridges over the coming weeks. Glastonbury inspections are scheduled for: <ul><li>Aug. 1 - Bridge No. 00389 that carries a Route 17 Ramp over New London Turnpike</li><li>Aug. 2 - Bridge No. 05546 that carries Route 3 over Main Street</li></ul> Lane closures on New London Turnpike and Main Street will be implemented between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on those dates, officials said.
