Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- Eastern Connecticut State University's Business Administration Department held its annual Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society induction on April 23 in the Johnson Room of the J. Eugene Smith Library. Among the inductees was Amanda Heffernan of Glastonbury, who majors in Business Administration. To Qualify for Delta Mu Delta members must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 in the business administration major and be in the top 20 percent of their junior or senior class.
- More than 200 Eastern Connecticut State University students of African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) descent were honored on May 9 at the 2019 Inclusive Excellence Awards. All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.
Among the honored were three residents of Glastonbury: Kirsten Rasmussen, who majors in Pre-Elementary Education and English, was presented with an Academic Excellence Award; Fan Wu, who majors in Mathematics, was presented with an Academic Excellence Award; and Kaitlyn Rasmussen, who majors in Communication, was presented with an Academic Excellence Award.

- Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the spring 2019 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List. Honorees from Glastonbury are Meghan Dube, Ryan Gineo, Breana Soto and Kaylee Stebbins.
James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA
- Glastonbury resident Tracy Nardi has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2019 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Nardi is majoring in Marketing.
University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

- Ashley Claire-Marie Pineault of Glastonbury was named to The University of Alabama Dean's List for spring 2019. Students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above.
University of Delaware, Newark DE
- Sarah Beauchemin, Mark Dalton, Cecilia Davila, Dylan Gesswin, Madeline Kesten, Devin O'Doherty, Natalie Pinkowski, Nathaniel Reynolds, Hannah Stetson and Molly Sullivan, all of Glastonbury, have been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
