- Corinne Ciraldo, a Fashion and Retail Merchandising major from South Glastonbury, presented work at the Lasell College Spring Connected Learning Symposium in April. Ciraldo participated in a Symposium booth for Studio 1851, a pop-up store as part of the institution's fashion program and related course, "Pop-Up Management."

- Three Glastonbury residents were among the students who received their degrees in May as part of the Class of 2019: Holly Barden, M.S. in Criminal Justice 4 + 1 Program; Christopher Reichart, B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical Engineer Specialization); and Nicholas Yacovone, B.S. in Finance.
University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI
- At the University of Rhode Island's 133rd Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, 2019, about 3,400 undergraduate and 740 graduate students became the University's newest alumni. Graduates from Glastonbury were Matt Francisco Basche, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management; Mason Alan Dumaine, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering; Melanie Ann Gorobzov, Bachelor of Science Kinesiology Cum Laude; Karen Petrik, Bachelor of Arts Elementary Education and Bachelor of Arts Communication Studies Summa Cum Laude; Megan Mary Scanlon, Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology; Collin Fritz Schindler , Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management; Cody Schultz, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Magna Cum Laude; Evelyn Spencer, Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology Magna Cum Laude; and Jordan Samuel Udi, Bachelor of Arts Economics. Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.
