Cantor Colburn LLP Announces Hiring of Experienced Patent Associates in Hartford, Detroit

Hartford, Conn.-- Cantor Colburn LLP, one of the country’s leading intellectual property specialty law firms, announced today the hiring of three experienced patent associates, Robert Matson  of Glastonbury, Connecticut, who works in  the firm's Hartford office, and Michael S. Park and Brian S. Pickell, who work in the firm’s Detroit office.

Robert Matson has extensive experience in providing patent-related legal services in the field of aerospace and aircraft design, medical devices, lasers and other optical devices, semiconductor manufacturing, carbon capture, and petroleum. Rob has provided counsel on patent-related legal opinions and patent portfolio analysis. Prior to entering legal practice, he was an engineer with Bechtel Corp.  His JD is from the University of Arizona and his BS in Mechanical Engineering is from Brigham Young University.  He is admitted in Arizona and to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
