Celebrating Earth Day in Glastonbury

The Goddard School children learned about the three R’s – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle during their Earth Week celebration last week.

They used recycled paper to paint with the colors of the planet to make Earth hats. Wearing their hats, the students had a parade around the school building before going outside to clean the playground.

Teachers also taught students how to plant seeds and learned about the importance of planting trees. Other activities for the Glastonbury students included finger-painting.
