Champlain College Student From Glastonbury Helps Run Art Showcase In Ireland
The Vermont-based college has a campus in Dublin.

GLASTONBURY, CT - Kylie McKeever of Glastonbury was one of 12 Champlain College students who recently planned and hosted an interactive street art showcase at Champlain College's campus in Dublin, Ireland.
Champlain's main campus is in Burlingtron, VT.
The students, from Champlain College's Stiller School of Business and Division of Communication & Creative Media, have been planning the event all semester as part of their coursework in the Creative Dublin class, which is run from Champlain's academic center in Dublin, Ireland.

The event featured a friendly competition among local graffiti artists accompanied by music from Dublin buskers and other street performers. Through the event, the class aimed to celebrate the vibrancy that street art brings to Dublin while "fighting the stigma against graffiti art and street performing," college officials said.
There were more than 1,000 people attending the event.
