Cleaning Lady Charged With Taking Expensive Watch in Glastonbury

A cleaning lady is accused of stealing a watch.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A woman working for a cleaning service company has been charged with stealing a watch from a Glastonbury home, police said.

Colleen Malone, 22, of Lebanon, was charged with third-degree larceny, which placed the value of the watch at between $2,000 and $10,000, according to state law.

Malone had been stopped for the traffic violation in Newington and was transferred to Glastonbury on the theft warrant, police said.

She posted a $10,000 bond and is due in court on March 28, police said.
