College Achievements By Glastonbury Students

GLASTONBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Lehigh University, Bethlehem PA

• Victoria Rousseau of Glastonbury graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics degree with a major in Supply Chain Management from Lehigh University in fall 2018.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy NY

• Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute student-athlete John Sadak of Glastonbury and Xavier High School has been selected for a post-season team award in football. The team's second leading tackler with 92 stops (41 solo), Sadak was named the Defensive Player of the Year. The junior linebacker added seven tackles for lost yards (25), a 12-yard sack, a team-high five interceptions with 106 return yards and four pass breakups. He was All-League First Team and All-ECAC Honorable Mention.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Four students from Glastonbury have been named to the University of Saint Joseph Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Brittany Damone, Alissa Gandiaga, Michaela Kapij and Ashley Litke. Students who are awarded this academic achievement have earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a “B.”
