Carleton College, Northfield MN

• Hannah Parrott of Glastonbury was recognized May 31 at Carleton College's Honors Convocation. Parrott received the Professor Roy F. Grow Endowed Fellowship. A cherished Carleton tradition, Honors Convocation draws the campus community together to celebrate the academic accomplishments of Carleton students and faculty. The event begins and ends with a full academic procession, including faculty emeriti, honors students, and recipients of awards and grants.

Colgate University, Hamilton NY

• Anna Case, of Glastonbury, is a graduate in the Colgate University in the Class of 2019. Case, a graduate of Northwest Catholic High School, majored in economics, with a minor in religion at Colgate. Case received a Bachelor of Arts degree Summa Cum Laude at Colgate's 198th Commencement, May 19.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 700 students. including three from Glastonbury, to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. Honorees from Glastonbury were Charlotte Barton, Jacquelyn Collas and Tristan Gervais.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA

• James Madison University is pleased to announce Shane Mack of Glastonbury graduated during the May 2019 commencement exercises. Mack graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Nathan Amaral, of Glastonbury, a member of the Class of 2021, has been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Union College, Schenectady NY

• Nearly 500 members of the Class of 2019 were honored at Union's 225th Commencement in Memorial Fieldhouse on June 16. Graduates from the Class of 2019 included Matthew Holdaway of Glastonbury, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude majoring in Neuroscience, and Erica Matteo of South Glastonbury, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Neuroscience.

University of San Diego, San Diego CA

• Thomas Callahan of Glastonbury graduated from the University of San Diego on May 26. Callahan earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental & Ocean Sciences.
