Concetta L. Costa, 80; Long-Time Glastonbury Resident

Concetta L. (Terranova) Costa, 80, of Glastonbury, died Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Goodall Hospital in Sanford, ME.

She was born December 14, 1934 in Siracusa, Sicily, Italy and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosalia (Loretto) Terranova.

Concetta had lived in Glastonbury since 1975.

She is survived by four sons and their spouses; Joseph and Hilda Costa of Sanford, ME, Peter and Christine Costa of East Hampton, CT, Albert and Margaret Costa of Middletown, CT, Anthony and Kim Costa of Marlborough, CT, and daughter in law Kris Costa of Rutland, VT, two brothers Richard Terranova of Vernon, CT, Tony Terranova of FL and a sister Piera Murphy of MA. Concetta also leaves 10 grandchildren, Andrew Costa, Chrystal Arnold, Nicholas Costa, Christopher Costa, Matthew Costa, Anthony Costa, Jr., Lauren Costa, Mallory Costa, Emily Costa, Elena Costa, and 2 great grandchildren, Sam Arnold and Bryson Costa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 19 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 4 to 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
