Connectcitut's Top 100 High Schools: See How Glastonbury Stacks Up

GLASTONBURY, CT — So ... how does Glastonbury High School stack up against others across Connecticut?

U.S. News & World Report released its 2026-27 Best High Schools rankings, evaluating thousands of public high schools nationwide on measures including college readiness, graduation rates and student achievement.

GHS came in at No. 29 in the Top 100 rankings.

Here are the top 100 public high schools in Connecticut, along with where each ranked nationally:

The rankings are based on six performance measures, including student achievement on state-required assessments, graduation rates and college readiness.

U.S. News also considers how well schools serve underserved students, participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams, curriculum breadth and overall student outcomes.

The rankings use data from the 2023-2024 school year and were produced with research firm RTI International.
