Contractor Accused of Stealing From Glastonbury Home

A contractor is accused of theft at a Glastonbury home, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A contractor from Bristol is accused of stealing silver and jewelry from a Glastonbury home after being hired for a home improvement job, police said.

Karl Toccaline, 25, was charged with second-degree larceny, released on a $50,000 surety bond and is due in court on Jan. 3, police said.

Investigators said he sold some of the items at a local pawn shop.
