Deer Rescued From Ice-Covered Pond In Glastonbury
A deer was rescued that had become stuck on a frozen pond in Glastonbuy.
GLASTONBURY, CT — Emergency responders rescued a deer that had become stuck on a frozen pond in Glastonbuty on Wednesday.
The deer was discovered on the ice at about 8 a.m., fire officials said. The pond is located at Hebron Avenue near Pembroke Terrace, according to fire officials.
Glastonbury Fire Department Companies 4 and 3 responded to the scene and were able to meticulousy remove the deer from the ice, officials said.
