A new use has been proposed for a Glastonbury commercial space.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A dog grooming establishment has been proposed for a parcel in Glastonbury.
The local plan and zoning commission is scheduled to decide on the application for 122A Naubuc Avenue Tuesday evening.
The business owners of Ruff & Tumble plan on no exterior alterations, except for news signs, according to the plans.

The building is currently paid out for offices. The 2,214-square-foot first floor would be converted into the grooming business and the second floor, which also measures 2,214 square feet, will remain as-is, according to the plans.
The parking lot can accommodate 16 to 18 spaces, according to the plans. No boarding or doggie daycare has been proposed for the business.

The building sits in a town center mixed use zone, so it would be a conforming use, officials said.
