Domestic Call Leads Cops to Pot Garden in Glastonbury

Police released details of the case on Wednesday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A domestic violence call led police to a backyard pot garden on the 700 block of Main Street, an arrest report indicates.

The call came in at 6:40 a.m. Monday at 743 Main St., according to an arrest report. While investigating a domestic disturbance, James Paternostro, 28, of that address, was arrested, according to a report.

Police then noticed that marijuana plants were growing in the back yard, according to a report.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and manufacturing hallucinogens, police said. He was being held on a $25,000 bond and is due for his second court appearance on July 27, court records indicate.
