DOT Truck Involved in Route 2 Crash

The left lane of Route 2 in Glastonbury has been temporarily closed due to an accident involving a Connecticut Department of Transportation truck, NBC Connecticut reported.

Prison inmates were being transported to pick up garbage alongside the highway when the accident occurred near exit 10, the station said.

State police told NBC Connecticut there were injuries involved, but none were serious.
