Dr. Jaime De Leon joins Hebron Veterinary Hospital

Experienced veterinarian specializes in dentistry and orthopedic surgery

Hebron, Connecticut – Hebron Veterinary Hospital is welcoming Mansfield Center resident, Dr. Jaime De Leon to its Hebron practice as an associate. Dr. De Leon, who has been practicing in the region for more than a decade and is fluent in Spanish, specializes in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, oral surgery and dentistry, knee surgery, fracture repair and the implementation of laser therapy. He joins the practice effective May 1.

“We are so glad that Dr. De Leon is joining Hebron Veterinary Hospital and look forward to introducing him to our clientele and pets,” said Dr. Kimberly Mordasky, the owner of Hebron Veterinary Hospital. “He comes to us with extensive hands-on experience and makes a concerted effort to learn and practice the latest techniques of pet care skills, which will be of great benefit to our hospital and to the growing number of clients we serve.”

Prior to joining Hebron Veterinary Hospital, Dr. De Leon was a managing veterinarian at East Brook Animal Hospital in Mansfield Center and served as medical director of the practice for the past three years. He received his D.V.M from the National University of Costa Roca, his certificate from the American Veterinary Medical Association Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates, completed his fellowship at the Small and Wildlife Animal Hospital of the National University of Costa Rica and completed his clinical externship in anesthesia at North Carolina State University. Dr. De Leon received the University Scholarship from Panamanian Government for Academic Excellence. He and his wife Erin have three children and are the proud owners of three dogs, Louie, Charlotte, and Nikita.
