Driver Gets DUI Charge In Glastonbury After Car Goes Over Guardrail
The single-car crash took place Sunday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A single-car crash in Glastonbury Sunday left a car over a guardrail and its driver facing a drunken driving charge, police said.
Police released a report on the incident Wednesday.
According to the report, the crash took place at 2:17 a.m. near the intersection of Manchester Road and Quarry Road. Police respond to the scene after receiving a report about a car that had gone over a guardrail, according to the report.

Officers located the car the driver and the 35-year-old East Hartford man was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive upon right, driving without a license, the improper use of a registration plate and failure to carry the minimum insurance, according to the report.
He has been assigned a court date of Feb. 27.
