Teen, 20-Year-Old Killed As Car Hits Tree In Glastonbury
A weekend crash in Glastonbury claimed the lives of two people, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 20-year-old and a teenager died in a weekend crash in Glastonbury, police said.
At 1:53 a.m. Sunday, Glastonbury police, firefighters and an EMS crew were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash along the 1100 Block of Manchester Road, according to an incident report.
The vehicle had hit a tree and the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, according to an incident report. Police said a preliminary investigation determined that the vehicle had been traveling northbound on Manchester Road when it veered off the pavement and struck a tree.

Early Monday afternoon, police identified the driver as Yiriel Cintron, 20, of Marlborough and the passenger as Brandon Amiot, 16, of Lebanon.
The Glastonbury Police Traffic Unit and Metro Traffic Services regional accident reconstruction team are investigating the accident. Anyone with information is being encouraged to contact Agent Sue Jobes at 860-633-8301.
