GLASTONBURY, CT — Police have filed drunken driving charges related a car slamming into a stone wall over the weekend in Glastonbury. The car hit the stone wall at the intersection of Quarry Road and Manchester Road at 1:29 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report. It was the only vehicle involved in the crash, according to an arrest report. The driver, a 24-year-old woman from East Hampton, was subsequently charged with driving under the influence, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to maintain the proper lane, police said. She is due in court on July 21.
