Eastbury School Closing Decision Delayed A Week

GLASTONBURY, CT – Education officials have put on hold a decision regarding the fate of Eastbury Elementary School, the Hartford Courant reported.

It has been delayed a week.

Bard members on Monday listened to more pleas Monday urging the school board to keep the building open instead of closing it at the end of the 2016-17 school year.

A special meeting has been scheduled for May 16.
