Eastbury School Vote On Tap For Monday

GLASTONBURY, CT - A decision could be made tonight to close Eastbury Elementary School.

And under the consolidation plan, the school system will also be forced to redistrict, Fox61 is reporting.

The school board will vote on whether or not to close Eastbury Elementary. If it decides to close the school, it would occur at the end of the 2016-2017 school year.

This comes after a decision by the Board of Education two years ago that called for the closing of one or two schools when the number of projected students dipped to less than 2,000.
