Eden Chandler Cook III, 52; Machinist Who Loved the Outdoors, Lived in Glastonbury

Calling hours will be held Thursday, Aug. 13 with a celebration of life service scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14.

Eden Chandler Cook III, 52, of Glastonbury, was taken from those who loved him way too soon on Saturday, August 8, 2015.

He had great attention to detail and took great pride in the work he did as a machinist for Highland Manufacturing. He enjoyed guitar playing, riding his dirt bike and spending time with his friends and family.

Eden had a light hearted smile that we will hold close to our hearts. He had a love for the outdoors and nature and although his passing was unexpected, we can take peace knowing Eden was doing something he loved so much.

Eden will be dearly missed by his best friend and wife, Allison Gardner Cook; his mother Nancy Z. Cook and her partner Wayne Sunderland; his father Eden C. Cook Jr. and his wife Elli Cook; his sister Nancy A. Cook; his father in-law Jack Gardner and mother in-law Eleanor Gardner; his brother in-laws, Doug Gardner and his wife Laura and their daughter Kenzie, Adam Gardner and Vi. He was predeceased by his best friend John and his cat Bonnie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 14th, at 11AM, at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpk., Glastonbury. Friends and family are welcome to gather at 10AM at the funeral home before the service. Burial will be held at Green Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13th, at the funeral home from 5 to 8PM.
