Seniors: Trip to See Hairspray at Ivoryton Theater

See Hairspray after having lunch at Fresh Salt Restaurant at Saybrook Point Inn.

Schedule:
Leave RCC at 10:15 a.m.  
Lunch at 11:30 a.m.
Performance of Hairspray 2 p.m.
Return to RCC 5:30 p.m.

Cost: $35 (plus lunch)

The first stop on the trip, the Fresh Salt Restaurant, is at the mouth of the Connecticut River.  It features local seafood, as well as local greens and native strawberries. 

After lunch, spend a summer afternoon enjoying Broadway’s musical comedy hit that inspired a motion picture plus won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. Hairspray, written by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, includes songs from 1960s-style dance music and "downtown" rhythm and blues.

Registration Information:
Sign-up will take place on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Community Room A. One person may make reservations for up to two people only. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Glastonbury.
