St. Luke’s Church is showing the original 1920 silent film of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, starring actor John Barrymore, with a live performance by organist Jeff Howey on a 1920 Austin pipe organ on Saturday, October 27th at 7pm at the church (915 Main Street, South Glastonbury). Tickets for the show can be purchased at the door, but reservations are recommended due to limited seating: $10 adults, $7 students/seniors and a non-perishable donation to the town food bank. Everyone is encouraged to come in a Halloween costume. Proceeds will go to benefit “Making Music with Friends,” a new music program designed for children with special needs.
