According to a warrant, the "victim" in the case reported being "extorted" after sharing images over the online chat social media channel Snapchat with a person he believed was a "flirtatious female."

An ensuing investigation determined that Demonia "extorted money from the victim to prevent the sharing of nude images with the victim's Instagram connections." a warrant states.
