Former Glastonbury High School Cheerleader Sues School System Amid Head Injury Claims

The lawsuit claims for the former Glastonbury High School student suffered a head injury during practice.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A former cheerleader at Glastonbury High School and her family have filed a lawsuit against the local school system seeking damages for what they say was a head injury sustained during a practice session.

The incident took place during a run-through in 2015, and the girl hit her head on the floor, according to a WTNH report. She then cheered at that night's basketball game, according to the WTNH report.

The Hartford Courant reported the girl and her family are seeking $14 million in damages.
