Former Stork Club Daycare Director Enters Guilty Plea in Abuse Case

The plea was related to actions never reported.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The former director of the Stork Club daycare center in Glastonbury on Friday entered a guilty pleas to a pair of counts of failure to report child abuse and two counts of reckless endangerment, Fox 61 reported.

Meegan Beach of Hebron was arrested in mid-March after a four-month investigation into the actions of an employee, court and police records indicate. the employee is accused of force-feeding, restraining and hitting several toddlers at the daycare facility, according to arrest records.

According to police records other employees warned Beach about the actions.

Sentencing is set for March 2, Fox 61 reported.
