Found with Stolen Power Tools, Man Faces Larceny Charge: Police

Glastonbury Police arrested the suspect at Home Depot.

A Norwich man remains in custody following his arrest on sixth-degree larceny and interfering with police charges.

It was shortly after 3 p.m. on June 27, when Glastonbury Police Department responded to the Home Depot at 115 Putnam Blvd. to investigate a complaint about a suspicious suspicious male selling power tools out of his vehicle, according to police.

While investigating the incident, Jordan Kalin, 22, of Norwich, was found to be in possession of stolen power tools, and provided investigating officers with a false name, to hide the fact that he had an outstanding warrant, according to police.

Kalin is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond and is scheduled to return to state Superior Court on July 30, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
