Our Member Spotlight of the day is on: The Discovery Center
"A classroom without walls for a future without prejudice"
Their Mission is to shape positive attitudes about race and differences, reduce isolationism between urban and suburban/rural schools, and improve math, science and language arts skills.
The Discovery Center is a non-profit organization in CT that educates elementary school children around the state about diversity. They bring inner-city and suburban students together to work, play, and learn together by giving them a unique residential experience.
