Vito’s Pizzaria in Wethersfield is tucked amid a small row of tidy stores on the Silas Deane Highway and is is one of the most popular pizza places in the area.

We opened the restaurant in 1978. It was behind a strip mall in Wethersfield and was in a 600 square foot space without a storefront visible from the street. At that time, our menu was very simple and was take out only. 

By 1983, the business had grown significantly and we moved to the front of the mall and opened a full service restaurant.

You may be thinking that we made a typo here, but we didn’t – we spell it pizzaria. Pizzeria was spelled wrong intentionally to set us apart from the competition.

While we've grown, we still offer a great take out menu, but also have so much more to offer.

Stop in and try out our delicious appetizers, dinners, pizza, and homemade desserts.
