Glastonbury Accounting Firm Promotes Tax Lawyer
William Claffey is named firm's tax partner.

The Glastonbury accounting firm of Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina LLP has announced the promotion of William B. Claffey to tax partner.
In addition to serving as Director of State Tax Services, Claffey provides tax credit services to the firm’s clients, saving them in excess of $20 million since joining the firm, according to the firm’s announcement. Claffey also provides audit defense services reducing clients’ initial audit findings.
Managing Partner Jeff Fiondella said in a statement, “Bill’s strong analytical skills, ability to consult with clients and provide representation in controversy and audit matters are true assets that sets our team apart. We look forward to continuing to bring an unparalleled level of service to our clients.”

Based in the firm’s Glastonbury office, Claffey joined the firm four-and-a-half years ago as the director of state, tax, credits, and incentives. Prior to joining Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina, Claffey was a tax consultant at Ernst & Young. He attended Providence College and earned his juris doctorate degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Claffey is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and a board member of the Hartford Preservation Alliance.
