Glastonbury Athletes Succeed at Class LL Track Meet

The Class LL track and field championships were held Wednesday at Willow Brook Park in New Britain.

NEW BRITAIN, CT — Several athletes from Glastonbury High School turned in impressive showings, including an individual victory, at the Class LL track and field championships Wednesday at Willow Brook Park.

Selina Soule won the long jump with a leap of 18 feet, 2.25 inches, pacing the girls team to a runnerup finish. The girls had 13 other scoring placements within the top eight, while the boys had seven placewinning efforts.
