Glastonbury Athletes Succeed in Track and Field Championships

MANCHESTER, CT — The Class LL track and field championships at Manchester High School saw a very tight contest among the boys, and a bit of an easier victory for the girls' champion.

Staples compiled 81 points to edge Danbury's 78.5 in the boys' competition, with Hamden placing third with 49. On the girls' side, Danbury won the title with 104 points, ahead of Ridgefield's 80 and Manchester's 68.
