Glastonbury Boys Get Votes in Weekly Lacrosse Poll

Despite a rough start to the season, the Tomahawks still earned some support from voters in the latest balloting.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Despite starting the season on a bumpy note with a pair of close losses, the boys lacrosse team from Glastonbury High School still earned some support from voters in the weekly poll of coaches and media members.

The Tomahawks rebounded from the tough start by defeating East Catholic 9-3 on Tuesday. They are slated to face Cheshire and Joel Barlow, a pair of top 10 teams, this week.

Darien (4-0), ranked first in the nation, received all 12 first-place votes.
