Glastonbury Boys Ranked in Top 10 of Lacrosse Poll

The preseason poll places the Tomahawks as the only northern Connecticut team in the top 10.

GLASTONBURY, CT — During last season's magical run to the top of the national boys lacrosse rankings, Darien High School encountered very few tough challenges. One of the closest matches of the year came in the Class L semifinals, where the Blue Wave defeated Glastonbury, 15-9.

The Tomahawks, looking for another chance at a Class L title, are ranked eighth in the preseason poll of coaches and media members. They look to improve on last year's 13-3 regular season record and fifth seeding in the state tournament.

To no one's surprise, Darien received all 12 first-place votes.
