Glastonbury Cops Issue Litter Warning
Glastonbury police said litter was quite noticeable at one local park over the weekend.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Police are reminding those who use the local parks that the fine for littering is not cheap.
Police said on weekend patrols through Addison Park, they noticed of some "serious litter strewn about" near the basketball court, the playground and in the parking lot.
"Please help keep our town beautiful and remember that littering is illegal," police said in an announcement on Facebook.

The local fine for littering is $190, police said.
