Glastonbury Cops Make Arrest For June Commercial Burglaries

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Killingly man was arrested this week in connection with two commercial burglaries that took place eight months ago in Glastonbury, police said.

Avery Oscar Auer, 28, was taken into custody by Glastonbury police Wednesday while he was in court for an unrelated matter, according to an arrest report. The arrest was in connection with three commercial burglaries on Commerce Street and Kreiger Lane in Glastonbury in June 2022, police said.

Auer was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and fourth- and fifth-degree larceny.

He posted a $50,000 cash/surety bond and is due in court on March 22.
