Glastonbury Drug Take Back Event Scheduled For Saturday
Unused Drugs Can Be Dropped Off.

GLASTONBURY, CT - Residents can get rid of their unused prescription drugs at a take back event this weekend.
The event will take place Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Academy School parking lot, 2143 Main
Prescriptions drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, inhalers, liquid medications, and pet medicationswill be accepted.

Thermometers, needles, and empty containers will not be accepted, organizers said.

The event is being offered by several Glastonbury departments including health and the police and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
