GLASTONBURY, CT — The Glastonbury Board of Education has adopted a proposed budget with an increase of what members are terming "half the rate of inflation" for the 2023-24 fiscal year.

The budget plan was approved on Jan. 9.

The bottom line totals $120,728,065. That's an increase of $3.24 from the current operating budget and $320,000 less than what Superintendent of Schools Alan Bookman submitted.
