Glastonbury Girls Coast Into Final Four
The Tomahawks are seeking their third straight Class LL girls soccer title.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Caroline Bogue scored a pair of goals and Glastonbury erupted for three tallies in the first 20 minutes of the second half to post a 6-2 win over Staples in the quarterfinals of the CIAC Class LL girls soccer tournament.
Leah Barbieri, Eden Baker, Madison Seymour and Tori Kretzmer also scored for the top-seeded Tomahawks, who advance to the Final Four in search of a third consecutive state title.
Goalkeeper Abby Renaud stopped five shots to earn the victory.

Glastonbury will take on No. 13 Wilton Wednesday at a site and time to be announced. The other semifinal will feature second-seeded Suffield against No. 3 Ridgefield.
Four teams from Hartford and Tolland counties were in action Monday, but Glastonbury was the only survivor. South Windsor fell to Ridgefield 6-1 in Class LL, while in Class M, Tolland dropped a 1-0 decision to Notre Dame-Fairfield and Lewis Mills was upended by Immaculate, 3-0.
